What Are You Feeling? What Do You Need?

Have you ever had one of those days where you just felt weird?

Not necessarily bad, but definitely not good either.

Recently I was having one of those days where I felt caught in a time-warp and everything felt disconnected and like I was walking through one portal after another.

Sounds fun, but can be exhausting!

I have had this happen before, but on this particular day I realized I was aware of multiple things that were slightly new to me.

My own energy, past experiences coming up to release and pre-processing some clearings coming up in the next few days.

If you’ve done any sort of energy work, bodywork, could even be surgeries etc. you may have experienced pre -processing.

The way I would describe it is like feeling spacey and slightly agitated, but nothing in particular has happened to cause it.

You’ve had enough food, rest, and everything is pretty relaxed but there’s a low level of uneasiness in your awareness.

What's Possible With Your Body?

When was the last time you stopped to check in with your body?

How have you been feeling lately?

Do you have a few aches and pains, maybe a chronic condition that you’ve been coping with, or perhaps you feel better than ever! 

Whatever the answer is, make note of it.

And, if you felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to check in, make note of that too!

Our bodies give us feedback about so many things that it can be easy to miss.

But, if you take a moment to slow down each day, or a few times a day, you will become aware of sensations and how they are connected to your thoughts.

Just as your hand lets you know if something you’re touching is too hot or cold. Your body as a whole sends signals in various ways to let you know when you’re out of alignment.

That could be physical, emotional, or mental.

Now, I’m not suggesting you hyperfocus on bodily sensations, but knowing the signs that you’re hitting a limit can spare you tons of unnecessary suffering.

How Do You View Your Family?

Ahh family, sometimes you love them, and sometimes you pretend you were adopted by a lovely alien race and are waiting for them to come pick you up and take you out of this solar system LOL!

Seriously though, family can bring lots of beautiful moments and lots of confusion.

Even if you have a mostly great relationship with your family, there can still be many challenges and belief systems that are passed down through bloodlines, physically and energetically. 

One of the most common patterns I see is that of guilt.

Where certain family beliefs have been pushed upon others as a way to control their choices.

Much of this I believe is meant out of love, but is very fear based and controlling.

It feels yucky to have those you love telling you that they basically don’t trust you to navigate your own life and that they know better.

How do you feel when people pay you?

You may think you love getting paid, which could be true.

But, do you notice with some people you might feel a bit on edge when they pay you?

Perhaps you have scenarios where you have to remind people to send you payment, or feel they are crossing your boundaries.

Or, you might feel guilty, awkward and odd about asking for and getting paid in general.

Firstly, make sure you are being clear about what you expect.

This could be in your business, or maybe you have loaned someone money.

Expecting Them to Be Your Source of Everything

As a young girl I got the message that I was supposed to seek love and approval from outside of myself.

Sure, I was encouraged to be somewhat strong and independent, but not too much, or that would upset others. That my true worth came from others accepting me.

Well obviously that idea made me want to barf and I immediately realized something was VERY off with that way of operating. 

That way of living just wasn’t going to work for me.

I wasn’t sure exactly how I was going to navigate this world but I knew I wasn’t going to let others control me.

I spent years feeling like I constantly had to fight to be myself in a world where everything was telling me to be something else. From magazines, to television, school, and even church telling me something was wrong with me!l

Tarot Cards-Reflecting Your Dominant Thoughts

I bet you’ve had some pretty shitty readings that told you the exact opposite of what you wanted to hear and you maybe shrugged it off, or you felt devastated.

Perhaps you became obsessive, shuffling and asking the same question or going to multiple readers hoping for a new result. 

Many years ago I had a few readings, just for fun, except it wasn’t fun and It really f*ucked with my head for a while.

I thought what they said was just how it was and I had to accept it, but that never felt right.

Thankfully, I realized pretty shortly afterwards that what the reader said wasn’t how I was going to let my story unfold.

It actually made me more determined to have what I really wanted! And I did get what I wanted, actually better than I had initially intended.

How to Get Into the Flow of Your Creativity

As a child I was extremely creative and loved to express it mostly through singing and dancing, and a little scrapbooking. 

My mom was amazing at drawing and painting and part of me shied away from that type of art because I never thought I could create something as beautiful as she did. 

Fast forward many years to 2016 when a friend took me to a little painting class and I had the most amazing time. I was literally beaming with joy and wouldn’t stop talking about that class to anyone who would listen for about 3 days straight LOL!

I was so proud of the ocean wave with the bird I had created. It was so simple but added so much happiness and joy to my world and changed my life forever. 

After that day I have never stopped painting.

The floodgates had opened and I let myself paint whenever and however I wanted.

I wasn’t trying to be like someone else. Compete with another’s style of art. I simply started painting things I saw in my mind’s eye during sessions mostly.

Fear and Survival - How You Are Wired

Do you ever wonder why you focus on the “bad stuff” so much?

That sometimes no matter how positive you try to be you find yourself bombarded with scary worrisome thoughts. And it all seems so valid and logical to keep hyperfocusing on the terrible things. It’s because, as a survival mechanism we are wired to focus on negative stimuli. 

As a kid I would daydream about any and all scenarios that I might find myself in, especially scary situations.

It was an attempt to keep myself safe.

I thought if I could figure out every possible thing that could happen in life and how I would respond, then maybe I could finally relax.

I was very aware of energy, others moods, and could see spirits from a very young age. All of the things that I see as beautiful skills and gifts now, were very overwhelming then.

It’s ok to change your mind

A few days ago I was thinking about different times in my life when It seemed like I didn't get what I wanted.

Like the ex boyfriend I thought was amazing and would be the greatest guy for me. Only to realize that there was a way better relationship on the verge of appearing.

Or, getting all gung ho about becoming a personal fitness trainer. Then deciding I love to workout and stay healthy more than I enjoy training others. 

There’s nothing wrong with any of the things I mentioned.

They worked at the time and helped me to dream bigger and be more honest about how I prefer to create my life.

But, I did feel disappointed at first. And I’m sure you’ve felt the same way many times in your own life.

You may have put in a lot of time and energy to achieve a certain goal and then it didn’t happen. But, what if you just changed your mind and it is ok to change your mind!

Contrary to what many of us were taught; you don’t have to rack your brain trying to figure out every detail of how and when your desire will show up. 

The fastest way to get the things you want is to find ways to feel good now.

I know, how the heck are you supposed to feel good when you’re so stressed out?! 

Well, the key to that is getting your mind on something besides the “problem” you keep focusing on.

Your thoughts and feelings come from the state you are in.
