Doing What’s Required to Change

Are you truly willing to change?

You may have quickly said yes and thought that was a silly question.

But it is VERY possible that you may be trying to stay exactly the same but you want things in your life to be different. [It doesn’t work that way.]

The version of you that has the things you currently don’t have thinks, feels, and behaves differently than your current version.

Sometimes drastically different. You must “die to the old self” in order to embody the new state of being.

Dying sounds kinda drastic, but some states of being I’m sure we want to die, fall away and never come back.

I know a few times in life I have felt that way LOL! 

So what’s the answer?

How do you get the things you’ve been longing for?

CHOOSE.

Sounds so simple, because it is.

You’re just simply not choosing it.

Do you choose once?

Sometimes, but if you have a lot of resistance and momentum fighting against your new choice you will need to choose repeatedly and stay consistent in the new thoughts.

You may feel like giving up and that your thoughts are against you at times.

But, remember that YOU are in charge.

Even if you have racing thoughts filled with fear and resistance you get to say STOP! And keep choosing a new story.

Those aren’t the times to be all soft and ask your thoughts to change.

Yes, there’s a time for that but you’ve got to be willing to be more potent and declare that you’re done thinking this thought, worrying about this thing and you are officially done with whatever has created this pattern!!

It is up to you to decide how easy or difficult something will be.

Just pay attention to your “true” thoughts about something.

You could be telling yourself all day that you’re doing all the work to change something and maybe affirming it's easy.

But, underneath it all you’re looking for things to be difficult, not work.

Give yourself permission to relax about things.

You do NOT have to hyper-focus and fight off thoughts all day!

Quite the opposite.

When you relax and let the “unwanted thoughts” just be, they will dissipate, release..and move on outta your reality.

Choose to have more faith in yourself.

This week take note of how many amazing things you’ve already created in your life.

It is a simple exercise but very powerful to do periodically to enjoy how awesome you are and remind yourself that you are VERY capable!
