Stress is a part of life, but how each person handles stress can vary greatly depending on many factors.
I spent most of my childhood, teenage and 20s with high stress and anxiety.
I actually only left my home a handful of times in a 3 year period.
I could feel the cortisol running through my body, often sick to my stomach and anticipating a panic attack. It was not how I wanted to live my life.
But, I had to first realize that it was even possible for me to change this.
I became very determined, obsessed actually, with feeling better somehow some way.
I began to study vitamins, minerals. and herbal remedies.
How to heal and strengthen the human body via alternative methods yoga, qi gong, Chinese medicine etc.
I have experienced so much with my body from a young age.
I could write multiple books about stress, anxiety, and trauma alone.
I’m always curious to be more in touch with my infinite creative powers and how my energy, thoughts, and choices reflect in my world and body.
So it was super fascinating to pick up on some unfamiliar stress symptoms I experienced over the last few years.
1. Excessive urination
2. Blurry vision/eye floaters
3. Random bruises
4. Scary intrusive thoughts/visions
I share these with you because I think it's important to be empowered with knowledge about how our bodies function and how we create our reality.
At first when we are hit with stress or chronic symptoms it's easy to be afraid and think the worst.
Yes, go to the doctor or do whatever feels best to check on your health.
But, it is super important to know how many symptoms are related to high stress and can be resolved by making lifestyle changes.
For example when I started to suddenly see eye floaters I wondered what was going on with my vision of course.
But my first thought wasn’t stress.
However: as soon as my stress levels dropped they went away. And at times when my stress was higher I saw them return.
You can take all the vitamins, herbs and do all the modalities you want but if you don’t change your choices in life that are creating the stress patterns, you will just find yourself in a loop of chasing and fixing symptoms.
I always tell people that if you have a broken bone, go to the doctor, but you can simultaneously think better thoughts while getting treatment.
So if you do have any health issues now, do what you need to take care of yourself and also make the necessary thought and lifestyle change to create and maintain mental, physical, and emotional health.
Get your cortisol levels in check, because those scary thoughts can really kick your ass and make everything a thousand times more difficult.
When you have peace of mind it is much easier to clearly see the next best step to change whatever ails you.
