4 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Energy Healing

I don’t think I’ve ever really talked about my healing experiences in much detail.

But, I wanted to share a few things that would have been great to know earlier on in my journey.

I am grateful to be aware of these things now and I think you might benefit from them too.

4 things I wish I knew when I started energy healing:

1.)There’s nothing wrong with me- I am not flawed and need to be fixed.

I wish I’d known much sooner to look at “healing” from the perspective that I am simply choosing to be different and feel different.

That there’s nothing wrong with any version of me. That I am selecting how I want to experience life each moment.

This simple shift has allowed me to have way more fun doing energy clearings. And ease with changing things in my life.

2.) I don’t have to change it all in one clearing- Years ago I used to get so angry when something I had cleared popped back up again. How in the heck?!

I took the time to release all the energy and triggers around a certain topic and suddenly I’d experience the same thing in my world again!

Super baffling and frustrating.

Until I realized it didn’t mean anything except what I decided. So if I decided it meant that I had failed and had to do more work and that it was wrong that I needed to clear it again.

That’s what would be true for me. Instead, I started to become curious about things when they came up.

Maybe there was another aspect I’d benefit from clearing. Or, something else… But, I wasn't going to assume the negative anymore.

Now if something comes up more than once I simply clear it like it's not a big deal and move on. A much better use of my time and energy.

3.) Feeling safe having what you want is key- Safety is the one thing that comes up in almost every scenario of healing and manifestation.

There were so many things that I wanted to have or experience that did not feel safe to me.

FYI You don’t have to feel 100% safe in order to have something, but if you feel dominantly unsafe, you will likely not let yourself have the thing.

Yes, I pushed through fear and discomfort many times because I decided I was having a particular thing, no matter what.

But, with things that have a ton of fear associated with them. I know I simply won’t allow the experience into my world. I can choose to take the time and change my energy to feel more secure around the particular topic.

Some things have ancestral patterns and various trauma stories associated.

But, one thing I found very helpful was to ask myself. “Why is it safe for me to have what I want?

This question will help your brain seek evidence of why it is safe. And shifts you to the version of you who already feels safe having your desires manifest.

4.) You don’t have free will-  People love to throw around the idea of free will, especially in regards to other people. But, you don’t actually have free will outside of your current state of being.

Meaning, you can only think and perceive from that state of mind.

For example: you are focused on a problem and you continue to talk about it, complain, and rehash every piece of the problem to anyone who will listen.

If someone tries to help you with a solution, you may get offended and think they aren’t listening and don’t understand.

Because in that moment you are embodying, I have this unsolvable problem identity.

You might not even be able to hear anything someone says that doesn’t fit your problem.

You are essentially stuck, for that moment, you can’t have free will outside that version of you.

Thankfully, we are shifting states of being all day. So in 5 minutes or 5 hours you could suddenly have an insight that perhaps you could change this seeming problem.

But it is NOT from the old state of being. It is from a new state of consciousness in which you are open to other possibilities.

This last one remind me of this famous quote:

You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.”

~Albert Einstein

There are many more insights I’ve had over the years but if you only remember one of these make it number #1.

If you approach everything in your life from the viewpoint that you are whole and complete as you are, imagine how much easier everything would be.

Become curious and excited to experience life, like little children are.

Stop letting yourself get bogged down. Be enthusiastic about living, creating, and sharing your gifts with others.

If you’d like some help on your healing path. One of my favorite audios is Knowing you are worthy. It will help clear old patterns of low self worth, wrongness, perfectionism and self sabotage in order to appreciate yourself and reclaim your true space of wholeness.
